Welcome this year's HF-Yozakura F,S/STD, with an updated inlay design that goes from the fingerboard to the pickguard
Made in our Aska Workshop using the ever-popular Cherry tree wood, a Japanese staple, for the side and back.
The Cherry tree wood not only gives us a stunning appearance but also thanks to the material being reasonably hard, it also gives us a bright and sharp sound, making it a good fit for either fingerpicking or strumming.
For the fingerboard, headstock, pickguard, and bridge, we used a rare wood called “Purple Heart’ brandishing its natural purple color. Thanks to the fact of it also being a hard material, it provides a sharp attack and rich sustain.
The bracing for this model is a Forward-shifted scalloped bracing. From the moment you start playing, you will get an amazing and solid sound.
The coloring is inspired by the image of cherry blossoms gently falling on amidst a starry night illuminated by the moonlight. In order to get to the reddish-black color you see here, we made many prototypes, aiming for an exquisite hue that changes its appearance depending on the lighting.
In addition, the joint uses our "dove groove joint" design, and a post-finish treatment to the neck.
